A collaborative project between students from the Schulich School of Music and the McGill Art Law Association, this workshop aims to support artistic students in developing legal knowledge to support their professional practice in creative careers. Come along to hear from an intellectual property lawyer on how you can use copyright, licensing, and contracts to protect your work, as well as develop your negotiation skills with support from the McGill Career Planning Service. Then stick around to meet other creative students, and enjoy some food and live music!
