Introduction to Remote Sensing with R

This workshop, organized by the Geographic Information Centre, will teach you to :

• search and download satellite images with R (e.g. Landsat8 and Sentinel)
• work with satellite imagery in memory or when it is too big for memory
• to create spectral indices (e.g. NDVI) and spectral profiles
• to classify a satellite image
