Interfaith Shabbat and Discussion with MORSL & Hillel - Feb. 22

Hillel McGill and the McGill Office of Religious and Spiritual Life invite you to our first Interfaith Shabbat dinner. Join us at the Jack Reitman Hillel House for an evening of diversity, great conversation and delicious food!

We’ll be joined by keynote speaker, Prof. Jeremy Phillip Brown, Simon and Ethel Flegg’s Postdoctoral Fellow from McGill’s Department of Jewish Studies. He’ll discuss “Feminine Images of Poverty in Medieval Mysticisms”. The talk will not only address common features shared between different mystical traditions, but will also speak to the intersection of mysticism gender, and social ethics.
