Identity Theft in the "Smart" Era

In this webinar we will review some of the most common identity theft scams and their ever-evolving variants, how to safely manage your online presence, things to consider when setting up new devices on your “smart” home network, as well as reviewing the steps to take once you suspect being a victim of identity theft. We will also go over how to prevent "juice jacking", review common flaws with some "smart" alarm systems, and how to keep your RFID-embedded cards from having their credentials read, among others.   • Learn how to identity poorly-secured "smart" devices and avoid using them.
  • Know the steps to take once you suspect having been a victim of identity theft.
