From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Hybrid: Fostering Industry-University Partnerships Workshop

McGill Engine is pleased to announce that the workshop entitled Fostering Industry-University Partnerships will be offered this Fall!

The workshop aims at encouraging academia-industry collaboration between university and industry, in addition to providing the latest updates on the main funding programs with the possibility of leveraging funds up to 80% (4:1 ratio) in cumulative funding.

 

You will hear the latest on Mitacs’ programs. The 10-unit limit for the portal applications has been lifted! Dr. Christina Katsari will give an overview of Mitacs and its portal in case you missed the last session and will answer questions.

Agapi Agapitos, Industry Partnerships Officer, Office of Innovation and Partnerships, responsible for the Mitacs and Mitacs-Alliance on McGill’s side, will also join us to give you an overview of the application process, particularly related to Mitacs-Alliance, and answer any questions you might have.
