Gentle Yoga for Stress Relief

'Breathe Easy: Yoga for Stress Relief' is a 6 week program with equal emphasis on:

RELAXATION - releasing stress and tension.

REJUVENATION - active, yet low-impact, energizing postures.

PRACTICING CALM - self-soothing, embodied breathwork, and trauma-sensitive mindfulness.

All levels welcome.

Yoga mats provided.

Please register 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop.

Instructor Bio:

Jodi Proctor is a Social Worker (MSW, McGill University) and Trauma-sensitive Yoga Instructor (RYT500, Naada Yoga Montreal).  She specializes in mindfulness-based, trauma-sensitive approaches, and has trained with many leading experts in the field including Jon Kabat-Zinn (Mindfulness), Elizabeth Emberly (Somatic Yoga), and David Treleaven (Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness), among others.  Jodi has over a decade of experience working with individuals and groups to promote wellness at the individual, relational, and community level.  She is currently the Local Wellness Advisor at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University.
