Overview: Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is used to perform an initial analysis of your data in order to get a feel for the variables involved and whether your data entails certain patterns.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
> use different visualization tools to analyze distributions and correlations
> know and apply different ways to treat missing data
> apply classification and standardization methods
· Introductory knowledge of R, e.g. from Introduction to programming in R workshop, or from McGill's R summer camp.
