Educational Landscape Memories: Photo-Art Workshop

This project aims to create a reflective space for graduate students to explore and share their educational experiences through art. The photo-art workshop will combine photovoice, photo-elicitation, and drawing techniques, encouraging participants to reflect on the past, present, and future of their academic journeys. Funded by the 2024-25 Student Engagement Fund from McGill GPS, this study offers in-person arts-based workshop, scheduled biweekly from February 7 to April 4, 2025. The sessions will be held at the Faculty of Education at McGill University in Montreal. Each workshop will accommodate up to 15 participants, and no prior art experience is required. Participation is open to all graduate students at McGill, and the sessions will be conducted in English. Participants are encouraged to bring an educational landscape photograph that they have taken or one that holds personal significance. These sessions are one-time events and entirely voluntary. After registration, participants will receive detailed information about the project via email. To join, simply select a date from the available options and register. Don’t wait—spots are limited!
