Days of Service: Waste Repurposing at MAC Campus

Looking to promote environmental sustainability through hands-on experience at McGill’s Macdonald Campus while forming meaningful connections with your peers? Our Days of Service Waste Repurposing activity is aimed at providing opportunities for purposeful service and intentional connections between McGill students —from both campuses. The activity will consist of sorting through non-hazardous waste at Macdonald Campus and building a creative structure out of discarded items to create visibility for waste production and common sorting mistakes.

Participants will develop teamwork, creative thinking, and interpersonal skills. Volunteers commit to being present for 2-3 hours for the activity.

Once you sign up, you will receive an email with additional information including our meeting time and location to travel to the venue together.
