Days of Service: Halloween Fun with CHSLD Vigi Reine-Elizabeth
Do you want to share the spirit of Halloween while giving back to the community? Come volunteer at CHSLD Vigi Reine-Elizabeth and spend some time with the long-term care patients! This volunteering placement consists of helping to give out cotton candy and communicating with the residents. There will also be a performer to help spread the Halloween vibes! Residential and long-term care centers, better known as CHSLDs, are accommodations intended for seniors experiencing a significant loss of autonomy. Their mission is to provide their clients with a safe and hospitable environment while ensuring they receive the care and services that they need.
Wearing a mask is extremely encouraged.
Registration closes October 17th. You will be required to complete a background check form by October 24th.
You will receive an email with additional information following your registration.
When a minimum of 4 hours of volunteering for CHSLD has been completed, you can request a copy of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), an official document recognizing your involvement in and out of classroom learning experiences.
