  • Completion of certifications in Good Clinical Practice (ICH) and Health Canada Division 5.
  • Knowledge of the regulations and practices around clinical research, interventional trials, sponsor-initiated trials, and drug development for adult and pediatric patients
  • Access to a network of clinical trials professionals and past alumni of the program.
  • Practical onsite experience in a busy academic clinical trials center (Centre for Innovative Medicine (CIM) of the Research Institute of the MUHC). [For McGill Students only]

Participants to the C&RA program spend approximately 2 hours a week participating in special seminars and journal clubs (online in 2021-2022) curated to expand their understanding of the different components of drug development and clinical research. Two formal certifications for conducting clinical research will be completed online. The program provides one on one career advising to trainees as they discover more about different roles and aspects of the clinical and regulatory affairs sub-sector.
