Climate Change and Machine Learning - MSSI Graduate & Postdoc Collective Monthly Meeting

Climate Change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time and will require innovative solutions. Applications of machine learning in energy, land use, climate science, disaster response, and other areas have the potential to help accelerate many strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The McGill Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI) Graduate & Postdoc Collective is thrilled to host Professor David Rolnick (Canada CIFAR AI Chair in the School of Computer Science and at Mila) and his graduate students for a presentation on the intersection of climate change and machine learning. All are welcome to attend.
