From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Class of André Leroux


Alex Ambroise is a Montreal-based saxophonist and composer continuously exploring the styles of jazz, R&B, hip hop and all their evolutions. He started his musical journey at age 5 with classical piano lessons. Gaining interest in music, he quickly joined the Petits Chanteurs de Laval choir, with which he toured Europe and performed with various artists such as Grégory Charles and Céline Dion. He now performs around the province as a member of the Anomalie Big Band, as a sideman to Vox Sambou and as a band leader.
