Presented as part of the Arts Research Event Series, a strategic initiative in the Faculty of Arts that offers workshops, networking event and funding insights in an effort to connect scholars of all levels who are working in the same area of research.


With the desire to create connections and grow the Artificial Intelligence community within the Faculty of Arts, we are pleased to invite you to a workshop on AI and the ethics of AI featuring Professor Benjamin Fung (Associate Professor, School of Information Studies) and Abhishek Gupta, AI Ethics Researcher, former McGill student (Software Engineer - Machine Learning and founder of Montreal AI ethics institute).

This workshop is for everyone who is curious about AI and is an opportunity to brainstorm on Faculty support regarding AI research and how we could facilitate/support initiatives on AI research within the Faculty.

This event is part of a strategic initiative in the Faculty of Arts to connect scholars of all levels who are working in the same area of research.
