Advisors and financial planning
In this workshop from the Financial Skills for the Real World series, we will go over the questions to ask and the steps to take when selecting a good financial advisor. We'll also review how to set up a financial plan (Investment Policy Statement, "Know your Client" form). Finally, we will review what services you should expect from a good financial advisor and how they can help you better manage your finances.
Learning Outcomes:
• Know what key questions to ask when selecting a financial advisor.
• Learn about the information contained in IPS and KYC forms and how they can be useful in determining your short- and long-term investment strategies.
• Be aware of the various services offered by financial advisors and how they can help you better manage your finances.
