To observe Orange Shirt Day, the McGill School of Population and Global Health will host a simulcast of the 3rd Annual Orange Shirt Day Lecture for Pediatric Grand Rounds at the Montreal Children's Hospital.

The presentation will be in French, but English interpretation services will be available for the SPGH simulcast

Objectives

  1. Provide an overview of Joyce's Principle and discuss the role of Joyce's Principle Office.
  2. Understand the impacts of colonialism on the social determinants of Indigenous Peoples' health.
  3. Demonstrate the importance of integrating social-justice approaches in the provision of healthcare services.
  4. Choose to move forward together and to honor the memory of Joyce Echaquan
