From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

The 2024 Future of Food Symposium aims to highlight innovative discoveries, challenges and perspectives pertaining to the future of the food industry!

This event will address many topics including trends and innovations for alternatives to animal products, sustainable food systems and packaging, personalized nutrition, social acceptability and regulatory aspects, and the role of artificial intelligence in the agri-food industry.

Participants include stakeholders in the food processing sector, such as industry leaders, regulatory bodies, researchers, experts and students.

This symposium is organized by McGill University's Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry and Consortium de recherche et innovations en bioprocédés industriels au Québec (CRIBIQ).
