SEI Impact Internship Program: Seeds of Change Crowdfunding

McGill students have incredible ideas and know how to enact positive social change. Now you can help them apply their knowledge and passion through the Impact Internship Program at the Social Economy Initiative (SEI) of the Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM). The program pairs top undergraduate students with social-purpose organizations (i.e. non-profits and social enterprises) for ten weeks over the summer.

We invite you to join us and share your stories and ideas about the spaces in upper campus buildings that you feel are under-used & unloved. You're welcome to just come along and learn from others too! We’ll pass through the Wong, Rutherford, Trottier, Strathcona, and Genome buildings, the Ferrier Couryard, and end up in the Ferrier Arts Lounge with food and drinks!

Linking Action and Research on Sustainability (LARS) is a joint initiative of McGill professors Elena Bennett and Catherine Potvin and funded by the McGill Sustainability Projects Fund. Our main goal is to give visibility to McGill researchers (profs, graduate students and postdocs) working on positive contributions to sustainability. To do that, we help them create videos and we offer a series of brown bag lunches in science communication and outreach.
