We are delighted to announce that Professor Rosalie Jukier has been promoted to the rank of Full Professor at McGill University.
Professor Jukier joined the Faculty of Law in 1985. For three decades, she has devoted her time to Faculty and University service, and inspired generations of students through her energetic, focused and brilliant teaching. Indeed, nearly half of Professor Jukier’s time at McGill has been spent in senior governance roles (three terms as Associate Dean, and one term as Dean of Students).

The Faculty of Education is pleased to announce that Professor Anila Asghar has been appointed as the Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies.
In this role Dr. Asghar is responsible for facilitating the ongoing development of successful research programs, and for promoting the excellence of our graduate students by actively supporting and coordinating all facets of graduate academic life in the Faculty of Education.
The Faculty is pleased to annonce that Professor Yaëll Emerich has been appointed Director of the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law. Her mandate begins on July 1, 2016.
DISE's Professor Ehret to receive Promising Researcher Award from National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)
Professor Christian Ehret, of our Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), has been named as one of two winners of the 2016 Promising Researcher in English Education Award, given by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), based in Illinois, USA.
The 8th biennial Provoking Curriculum conference, co-sponsored by CACS (Canadian Association for Curriculum Studies) will be held from February 17 to 19, 2017, at McGill University's Faculty of Education. Once again the Cystic Fibrosis Translational Research Centre (CFTRc) team from McGill University participated in the annual Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History. As a nation, Canada raised $3 million dollars and counting for Cystic Fibrosis research and care.
