Arthur S. Niederbuhl, of Bloomingdale, was inducted into Concordia University’s Hall of Fame Sept. 27 in Montreal. Niederbuhl, a 1970 graduate of St. Pius X in Saranac Lake, played for Concordia’s Loyola Warriors football team during his undergraduate days from 1970 to 1975.

Bombardier says it has no plans to pull the plug on the CSeries even though its efforts to secure a rescue deal from Airbus stoked fears about the future of the aircraft program and the company itself.
… Karl Moore, professor at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management, said Bombardier may sell a majority stake in its transportation division to raise funds but he’d be “astonished” if Bombardier’s new CEO Alain Bellemare bailed on the CSeries that is two years late and $2 billion over budget.

The brush of the insects’ legs against the various surfaces sounds like hail on a tin roof. Their feed, which sits on top of the cartons on paper plates, looks like a cross between sawdust and sand.
Many people would gag at the thought of snacking on crickets. But on Wednesday, the brave crew on the Calgary Eyeopener gave them a try and unanimously decided the insects actually taste like sunflower seeds.
The Board of Directors of LifeSciences BC announced today at their Annual General Meeting, thatJames P. Hatton Q.C. has been appointed new Chairman of the LifeSciences BC Board of Directors.
It was also announced that Nancy Harrison, Board of Director member since 2012, will take over as Vice Chair.
