Desautels Alumni Giving Back: Yalmaz Siddiqui, BCom ’92 and Senior Director of Sustainability for Office Depot
On March 17-18, 2016, Yalmaz Siddiqui, BCom '92 and Senior Director of Sustainability for Office Depot Inc. visited his alma mater to impart his knowledge and lessons learned through leading global sustainability efforts. Mr. Siddiqui spoke in several Desautels classes, providing insight on understanding the B2B Green Marketing and Purchasing Landscape to strategies for stakeholder engagement and community consultation when introducing sustainability into operations.

"Every semester, McGill University faculty lecturer Anita Nowak challenges her students to come up with projects for her social entrepreneurship and social innovation class based on a theme that she finds particularly timely and relevant.

The Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management (MDIIM) is pleased to announce the Social Economy Initiative’s Impact Internship cohort for the 2016 year. Now in its fourth consecutive year, the SEI Impact Internship Program pairs top undergraduate students who offer various management skills with social-purpose organizations for ten weeks over the summer.
