Dr. Robert Platt, Professor in the departments of Pediatrics and Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine was officially announced as the inaugural Albert Boehringer (1st) Chair in Pharmacoepidemiology during an event held May 26 at McGill.

Link between diabetes drug and bladder cancer confirmed

Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research 

A study conducted at the Lady Davis Institute at the Jewish General Hospital revealed that pioglitazone is associated with a risk of bladder cancer that increases with duration of use and dosage.
