Clive Chang will be awarded the Quebec Lieutenant Governor's Community Volunteer Award for Students at the Spring 2007 Convocation.
Principal Heather Munroe-Blum and I are delighted to announce that the Board of Governors, at its meeting of April 16, 2007, approved the appointment of Professor Jane Everett as McGill's Dean of Students. Professor Everett's term will start on July 1, 2007, and end on May 31, 2012.

The Faculty is pleased to report that this year's Vis moot team, comprised of Albert Chen, Martin Doe, Annie Guérard-Langlois and Rachel St. John, took home the second-place award (ex aequo with Columbia) for claimant's factum.
As in previous years, the deadline to convert the two (2) floating holidays into working days is May 31, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. Employees who opt to convert their two (2) floating holidays will receive 0.8% of their annual salary as of June 1, paid as a lump sum on June 15 of each year. Please note that the option to convert these days is irrevocable.
The McGill Library, thanks to funding from the Students' Society of McGill University (SSMU), is looking for students to fill positions as Library Ambassadors. The positions will start in mid- to late August (exact date to be announced) and will continue throughout the term on a part-time basis.
