This information session is intended for students who wish to pursue the CPA designation. The Area Coordinator for Accounting will be presenting the CPA Certification Program and will be available to answer any questions that you may have about our program and the application process. Please note that registration is mandatory.

The Faculty of Law was delighted to learn that one of its students received a Scarlet Key Award during a pining ceremony held at McGill’s Faculty Club on March 26, 2014.
Éloïse Gagné, who served as the LSA’s president in 2013-2014 and was a member of the 2013 editorial board of the McGill Law Journal, received her Scarlet Key pin from Principal Suzanne Fortier, in recognition of her efforts to help support McGill and the broader community.

An analysis of temperature data since 1500 all but rules out the possibility that global warming in the industrial era is just a natural fluctuation in the earth’s climate, according to a new study by McGill University physics professor Shaun Lovejoy.
AstroMcGill presents the 23rd Public Astro Night, with a panel discussion about "Inflation, the Big Bang and Gravitational Waves" with invited panelists Pr. Robert Brandenberger, Pr. Matt Dobbs, and Pr. Vicky Kaspi. The discussion will strongly encourage questions from the public. It will be followed by night sky observations (weather permitting) and a lab tour. This event is intended for a general audience, and it is free of charge. No reservation is necessary. Snacks and refreshments will be served (please bring your own cup).
