Driving Transformative Change

Throughout her 30-year career, Melissa Sonberg has been a driving force for transformative change. Never one toshy away from a challenge, her career path has immersed her in the corporate, nonprofit and academic sectors, touching on many aspects of human resources along the way.

Today, Sonberg is executive in residence/ adjunct professor at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management.

The third instalment of McGill’s annual Equity and Community Building Awards recognized doctoral student Lerona Lewis and Professor Bronwen Low of the Faculty of Education’s Department of Integrated Studies. Tuesday night’s award ceremony acknowledged outstanding contributions of McGillians towards promoting diversity and inclusivity in the local community and on campus.

The event, focused on “Business, Law & Green Chemistry”, was jointly hosted by the Center for Global Management (UCLA Anderson School of Management) and the Lowell Milken Institute for Business Law and Policy (UCLA School of Law).
