The entire McGill community is invited to join Principal Heather Munroe-Blum, veterans, McGill faculty, staff and students in commemorating Remembrance Day.
The campus-wide implementation of WebCT Vista is well underway, with over 140 instructors, 180 courses and 9,000 students using the system this term. The hardware is installed and running well. Members of the implementation team are conducting interviews and focus groups with students and instructors as we work to improve training and support. As courses will not be running on WebCT CE after the Winter term, we are encouraging instructors to move in January rather than wait for spring. The McGill Alumni Association is organizing coffee breaks in the McLennan Library Building during the exam period, at the following times: December 5, 11 am-3 pm; December 9, 11 am-2 pm; December 15, 2 pm-5 pm. They will provide bottled water, coffee, cookies and whole fruit, as well as highlighters and pens. Please feel free to join us in the Lobby where you are welcome to consume the goodies.
