McGill Library is pleased to announce that personal reference database software (or citation software, as it is sometimes known) is available to all within the university community. The software suite, obtained from Thomson, includes EndNote, Reference Manager and WriteNote.
There is a new virus circulating through McGill's email system. Do not open attachments coming from a bogus @mcgill.ca email address such as webmaster [at] mcgill [dot] ca or from the "Mcgill Support Team" telling you that "Your account has been suspended" or that your "Password has been successfully changed."

Faculty of Education classes are cancelled for today only. Please be advised there is an emergency water shutdown, caused by a burst city water line, affecting the entire section of Peel Street between Dr. Penfield and Pine Avenue today, Friday, September 16. According to the City of Montréal, water service should be back to normal between 3 pm and 5 pm today. Scheduled activities (including classes, library, etc.) and work performed by administrative and support staff will cease effective 11 am. However, should there be special scheduled activities which are deemed to be too important to cancel, participants will continue to have access to the building.
