Congratulations to our graduate student Dr. Jade Lasiste from Dr. Miguel Burnier’s lab in the Department of Pathology at the McGill University.  As part of the Closing Keynote Jade was awarded the "Member-in-Training (MIT) Outstanding Poster“ at the Annual Conference of Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO/Alcon) on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in Baltimore.

Dr. Srividya Iyer has been selected as the laureate of the 2017 Maude Abbot Prize!

This award was established in 2010 by the Faculty of Medicine in order to recognize outstanding female faculty members at an early career stage who have excelled in education, research or administration.

New Report: Open Education Resources and Textbook Affordability at McGill

McGill University Library & Archives and the Student Society of McGill University (SSMU) are happy to announce the release of the report, “Challenges and opportunities: Open Educational Resources (OERs) at McGill University” by graduating Arts student Casarina Hocevar.

The report releases the findings of a student textbook affordability survey and provides a set of recommendations for greater OER use on campus. Click here to read it.

How introverted managers can best interact with extroverted employees

In an article for Thinkers 50, Desautels Professor Karl Moore discusses how introverted managers can best direct extroverts.

A major part of it comes down to the way introverts listen: whereas extroverts tend to listen in an active way, interacting and gesturing as they do so, introverts are passive listeners, which can come across as rejection.

myCourses upgrade has new look, consistency across devices
