New ICC communications services

Presentation of three new services from ICC which complement two existing services, the ICC course lecture recording service and the COOL recording service offered by Dept of Chemistry. Camtasia records a presenter's voice as well as material demonstrated on their PC (e.g., PowerPoint or other software). Presentations can be played back locally or over a network (e.g., WebCT). Mediasite Live records and broadcasts live video and audio and computer-based presentations over a network. Both systems synchronize materials for faithful playback of original presentation. The ICC Streaming Server provides streaming of existing prerecorded video and audio or televised satellite programming.
