Please note that due to technical problems, email sent to first [dot] last [at] mail [dot] mcgill [dot] ca and first [dot] last [at] mcgill [dot] ca was bounced back to their original senders for some Exchange users (not students) on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, from approximately 15h00 to 18h30, at which point all mail delivery into and out of the University using the NCS email servers was stopped, queued and then delivered once the system was restored at 20h30. Mail within Exchange continued to work normally during this period.
The street-level study area in the Redpath Library Building will be closed for improvement from 7 am on Friday, March 30, to 2 pm on Saturday, March 31. Computers are available on the main floor of the McLennan and Redpath Library Buildings as well as in other branch libraries. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
A resulting problem from yesterday's email delivery problem has occurred. Staff who access their Exchange email through the Portal will have to log into Webmail and not Outlook Web Access (OWA). This problem will be resolved shortly.
Please note that the problem of last week (Thursday, March 29, 2007) preventing staff from accessing their Exchange email with Outlook Web Access (OWA) through the McGill Portal has been resolved.
From April 2 to 29, 2007, users with a valid McGill photo ID card may have access to the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering after service hours. The building is open for study until 2:45 am, 7 days a week, with the exception of Good Friday, April 6 (closed).
Both INB and Minerva interfaces to Banner are temporarily unavailable. The problem is currently being investigated. We apologize for any inconvenience.
