Professor Karl Moore and colleagues from Faculty of Medicine win award at 2006 CAME conference

Professor Karl Moore, along with colleagues from McGill's Faculty of Medicine, won the best R&D presentation award this May at the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) conference in London, Ontario, with their presentation "Growing Future Physician Leaders - A Randomized, Controlled, Single Blind Trial of an Educational Intervention in Postgraduate Trainees." The presentation discussed the program they designed and delivered, which taught management and leadership to McGill Faculty of Medicine residents in 2004-05.

Marie-Claire Cordonier Segger, McGill law graduate and a director of the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law, was recently named by the United Nations Environmental Program to the Who's Who of Women and the Environment, a list that pays tribute to the contributions of women to environmental conservation and management.
