Consider participating in "La marche des entreprises" on Car Free Day as a McGill participant. Walkers are encouraged to wear University colours (red and white); to promote McGill participation, the University will provide a red McGill T-shirt for the first 30 McGill staff and faculty who sign up.
Once again, McGill is proud to participate in International Car Free Day, September 22, 2006.
Details are still emerging about the tragic shootings today at Dawson College, a junior college located in Montreal. McGill operations have not been affected and all McGill classes and activities are continuing as scheduled.
Our deepest sympathies go to family members and friends who suffered loss and our heartfelt hopes for speedy recovery are with those who were injured or harmed. McGill is offering to help Dawson College and the victims in any way we can and provide counselling to students in the wake of this tragedy.
