The MLISSA year-end party has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 12.
We will be treated to a guided tour of the museum and a brief introduction to each exhibition, including the permanent collection, as well as a discussion of the concepts behind architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro's groundbreaking design of the new ICA, the first art museum to be built in Boston in over a century. Afterwards, we'll head to a nearby restaurant for a late lunch (at your cost).

McGill East European and Russian Film/Documentary Series: "Lilya 4-Ever" (2002, Russia/Sweden, film, 109 minutes)
This film is the unremittingly bleak story of the downward spiral of Lilya, a girl in the former Soviet Union, whose mother abandons her to move to the United States. The story is based on the life of Dangoule Rasalaite and examines the issue of trafficking in human beings and sexual slavery.
