In a relaxed setting, various Montreal personalities are invited to share their vision and passion for the city. This is a privileged moment for students from here and elsewhere who can freely discuss with these actors of change contributing to the development of Montreal. Foodies beware: the classic Montreal bagel with cream cheese is offered to fill a small hunger! This bilingual lecture series is organized by the Quebec Studies Program and the Quebec Studies Student Association (QSSA) of McGill University, with the support of CIRM. These short lectures are open to all and are offered five to six times a year, depending on the current program.

A bilingual panel on the play Cyclorama, co-hosted by Sophie Ji (McGill / Le Délit) and Elissa Kayal (CIRM employee / McGill), and moderated by our member Erin Hurley (CIRM / McGill), along with Laurence Dauphinais and Antoine Yared, who discussed the issues at the heart of the play, including the links between the French and English-speaking arts communities.

Food Justice in Montréal

Through its work in food security and its fight against food waste, this centre contributes to the improvement of the living conditions of its members and to the defence of fundamental human rights.
