Research: The Brown lab has three main areas of research. 1) The lab applies advanced light microscopy to study protein dynamics and interactions in focal adhesions in order to determine how they regulate cell migration. 2) We are also interested in how cell migration is regulated in breast cancer. 3) As the director of the Advanced BioImaging Facility the lab has been working on education, protocols and standards for light microscopy. |
