ECC: Engineering Internships 101 - in person

With the majority of employers demanding relevant work experience for entry-level positions, it is very important for students to gain as much industry experience as possible while completing their academic journey - to maintain a competitive advantage.

This workshop will discuss why internships are so important and introduces students to the Engineering Internship Program (EIP) - where students can get formal recognition for their internship experiences, while meeting employers' coop requirements. The workshop also provides insight into the short-term and long-term benefits of pursuing internships through the Engineering Internship Program, and how to use these experiences to build your professional profile as an upcoming engineer.
