Position Title: 
Senior ECM Analyst (IST3E)
Position Summary: 

The Senior ECM Specialist will advise and guide the University in the planning, architecture, design and implementation of Enterprise Content Management solutions. This position calls for a service-oriented individual, who is highly motivated, organized, has the ability to work both independently and as a team member showing initiative, leadership, autonomy, creativity and judgment.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Participate in the design of the ECM roadmap.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business and IT to provide solutions that meet Document Management and Collaboration business needs.
  • Provide ECM subject matter expertise to technology teams and projects.
  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing Document Management and Collaboration processes require change, or where new ones need to be developed.
  • Evaluate current ECM infrastructure and provide recommendations to improve stability and scalability
  • Assess system operations and implement solutions to optimize performance
  • Gather and develop functional requirements to meet business needs.
  • Lead the analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of ECM applications.
  • Lead significant upgrades of the Documentum ecosystem
  • Mentor other ECM Analysts on an ongoing and often formal basis.
  • Manage responses to incidents and provide 2nd tier support.
Minimum Education & Experience: 

Undergraduate degree

Five (5) years' related experience

Other Qualifying Skills And/Or Abilities: 
Five (5) years’ related experience, One (1) year junior architecture experience.Experience with designing, implementing, configuring, customizing and upgrading ECM systems.Excellent knowledge of Documentum; D2, Captiva, Webtop, Process Integrator, xPlore, CTS.Knowledge of O365; SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive for Business (an asset).Excellent programming background and design skills; Java, J2EE, Spring, .NET, JavaScript, JSP.Strong knowledge of SOA architecture and Web services implementation; REST, SOAP, CMIS.Experience with Object Oriented Programming and design patterns.Experience with Testing Frameworks; JUnit, Selenium.Strong knowledge of GIT, Artifactory and Maven. Knowledge of ApplicationXtender (an asset).Knowledge of CYA backup and recovery (an asset).Excellent planning, coordination and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to understand and clarify business needs formulated by requestors and stakeholders.Leader, self-motivated, autonomous and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams. Knowledge of Agile methodology. ITIL and ITSM knowledge (an asset). Excellent communication skills; English, spoken and written; French, spoken.
