Research Opportunities for students enrolled in PSYC 380, 450 494, and 498:

Dr. Phyllis Zelkowitz is offering psychology undergraduate thesis students the opportunity to conduct a year-long thesis project in her lab from September 2013 to April 2014 in the Psychiatry Department at the Jewish General Hospital. We are conducting a longitudinal study, investigating the role of oxytocin in maternal mood, social cognition, and behavior in interaction with her child. The current project involves the administration of questionnaires, the assessment of mother-child interaction and their attachment relationship, the evaluation of theory of mind in mothers and children, and the measurement of neuroendocrine and epigenetic factors related to oxytocin. If you are interested in this research opportunity, please email your unofficial transcript and CV to coordinator [dot] pmh [at] gmail [dot] com
