CanDirect study

It is common for people who have had cancer treatment to feel down, worried or stressed.

CanDirect is a study to evaluate a self-care approach for cancer survivors with low mood. The approach involves a set of tools: workbooks, CDs, a DVD, and online tools. These are provided in a structured binder with instructions. A coach is available by telephone to guide participants in the selection and use of the tools.

The study is funded by the Canadian Cancer Society (grant # 704450), and led by researchers from McGill University and the University Health Network.
