As you know, 2017 is a year of anniversaries: Montreal’s 375th, Canada’s 150th – and Expo 67’s 50th.
At McGill, as across the city and the country, there will be a number of activities, projects and initiatives organized to mark these anniversaries, some of which are already being planned, such as the 85th congress of the Association francophone pour l’avancement du savoir (Acfas), scheduled for May 8-12.
This is an occasion not only for our institution to celebrate the communities in which we live, but to highlight McGill’s contributions to those communities.
Please consult this page for events and projects that are scheduled throughout the year and for information on how to propose a project to the cross-campus committee. We are also developing a history of McGill’s connections and contributions to Montreal and Canada and will invite your suggestions.
