McGill Monday
McGill Monday is a series of workshops in your school designed to pique the interest of Black students in higher education. Throughout the series, students are exposed to various areas of study and are offered support from Black student mentors, McGill professionals and members from Montreal's Black communities, as they reflect on their educational goals. This program allows Black students to not only see themselves represented in higher education, but also to learn tools to make an informed and empowered decision about their educational paths.
McGill Monday is dedicated to students in grade 10, 11 and CEGEP.

McGill Faculty, students and staff, volunteer with us.
We strongly encourage McGill Faculty, students and staff to get involved in McGill Monday as guest speakers. We’re looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced individuals who would be thrilled to share their knowledge and experiences with young students, providing them with guidance and inspiration to choose their future path of study. Volunteers will be asked to give a presentation and discuss their own path, experience working and/or studying in a post-secondary institution and their topics of research if applicable.
We strongly believe that young students can benefit from hearing about the academic and personal journeys of faculty, students, and staff as an encouragement and source of guidance, and we are grateful for those who provide their time to contribute to McGill Monday’s mission.
