IMPRESS Paid Indigenous Mentorship Program is back!

Published: 3 February 2023

HBHL is partnering again with McGill’s Branches on the 2023 edition of the Indigenous Mentorship and Paid Research Experience for Summer Students (IMPRESS) program.

The IMPRESS program aims to provide Indigenous students at the early stages of their academic career with meaningful experience and skills through mentorship, training sessions, and paid work under the supervision of a McGill professor.

Branches is currently accepting applications from undergraduate students (deadline: March 10) and from graduate students at McGill interested in being mentors for IMPRESS 2023 (deadline: April 6).

HBHL is proud to support the neuroscience stream of this paid mentorship program for Indigenous post-secondary students.
Participating HBHL principal investigators (PIs) will host selected students in their lab for 20 hours a week for 8 weeks, while students will receive a $6,000 stipend, fully funded by HBHL.
