Accreditation

The B.Eng. program in Bioengineering is accredited!

One June 26th, 2020, the Department of Bioengineering at McGill University received news that its Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) program had become accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) following an in-depth review of the program in November 2019.

The positive outcome ensures that the undergraduate program both meets the highest standards of engineering, education, and professional practice, as well as fosters continual development and improvement of its curricula. In addition, students who receive a degree from the accredited B.Eng program may become licensed with Canada’s engineering regulators.

The Department of Bioengineering would like to thank everyone who contributed to the accreditation of its B.Eng program. We sincerely appreciate the hard work, dedication, and time devoted from all parties. Without their trust and support, we would not have the program we have today.

The Bioengineering B.Eng. program now joins over 270 accredited engineering programs across Canada.
