Thesis Option (46 credits)
A Neotropical Environment Option (NEO) is offered within the Ph.D., M.Sc., and M.Sc. Applied programs in Bioresource Engineering (also in Biology, Geography, Natural Resource Science, Plant Science, Political Science, and Sociology). This is a joint offering between McGill University and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) in Panama. This interdisciplinary option encourages and promotes ethically sound, and socially significant, scholarship valuable in the global context of environmental problems.
Requirements
- A thesis - completion and final acceptance of a supervised research thesis according to the regulations of the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office.
- 46 credits.
- Participation in the MSE-Panama Symposium presentation in Montreal.
