McGill establishes Luxembourg as a new hub for Finance education

McGill University is bringing its globally ranked Master of Management in Finance to Luxembourg, offering working professionals the opportunity to earn a top North American finance degree in the heart of Europe.

Led by Patrick Augustin, Director of the McGill Luxembourg Centre for Finance, the new program combines academic rigour with hands-on industry experience, including real portfolio management through Desautels Capital Management.

More than a degree, the program reflects McGill’s vision to establish the Luxembourg Centre for Finance as a strategic European hub for finance education, research, and industry collaboration.

As Augustin explains, “Our goal is not only to deliver a programme — it is to connect academia, industry, and policy.”
