  to a McGill-led Mitacs information session designed to support you in pla
 nning and managing successful Mitacs applications.\n\n \n\nAbout Mitacs:\n
 \nFor over 20 years\, Mitacs has been advancing innovation across Canada b
 y connecting researchers with partners in industry\, non-profits\, hospita
 ls\, municipalities\, and international universities. Working with 70 univ
 ersities and over 6\,000 partners\, Mitacs programs have supported thousan
 ds of McGill professors and trainees\, bringing in millions of dollars in 
 funding.\n\n \n\nWhy attend?\n\nThis session will provide practical guidan
 ce for both faculty and administrators. You will learn:\n\n\n	Key pre-award
  considerations: intern status and requirements\, participants roles and r
 esponsibilities\, intellectual property management\, agreements (e.g. NDAs
 )\, and submission timeline and deadlines.\n	Important post-award matters: 
 Mitacs receipt of partner’s payments\, release of funds\, and what to expe
 ct during project administration (such as key financial risks\, and compli
