Web Communications Support

Website looking sad and outdated? Not sure where to start with your updates? Find Drupal frustrating and difficult to work with? The Faculty of Arts is offering support and guidance to all Faculty of Arts units in the improvement of your websites. 

Starting on June 14, the Faculty of Arts, in conjunction with IT Services will be running weekly Lunch & Learn workshops. These will take place in Arts 230 from 12-1pm. 

June 14 & July 5: Website analysis - how to audit your content, structure your site for easy navigation and identify your goals so you can minimize your bounce rate

June 21 & July 12: Recommended site structure for Faculty of Arts departmental websites

June 28 & July 19: Using blocks and images for visual impact

We ask all departments, schools and institutes planning to make any major updates to their websites this summer to send their website managers to these sessions, in order to facilitate the process. We are also offering support in restructuring and updating your website on a first come first served basis. Please contact Lauren Jane Heller, the Faculty of Arts Communications Officer to set up an appointment for consultation. Lauren has extensive experience in web design and content, and is working to create an attractive and consistent identity for the Faculty of Arts websites.
