Canadian Architect 2015 Awards of Excellence

Published: 9 December 2015

Clothilde Caillé-Lévesque (MArch 2015 and a course lecturer in the School) is one of five winners of the Canadian Architect 2015 Awards of Excellence.  She was the sole student selected as an award winner, for her graduating thesis project, Close Encounters: A New Post-Industrial Landscape.  The Awards of Excellence are given each year to architects and architectural graduates for buildings in the design stage. One of only two national award programs devoted exclusively to architecture, the Awards of Excellence have recognized significant building projects in Canada on an annual basis since 1968.  Exclusive coverage will be granted to award winners in the December 2015 issue of Canadian Architect.

The Montreal firms KANVA (concept architect and architect of record) and NEUF architect(e)s (collaborating architect) also won an Award of Excellence, for their Biodome Museum Renewal Project in Montreal.  Congratulations to Rami Bebawi (MArch 2001) and Tudor Radulescu (MArch 2001) of Kanva and to Bruno St-Jean (BArch 1977) and Azad Chichmanian (BArch 1997) of NEUF architect(e)s for their run of success with awards this past season.
