Rachel Bergmann

Rachel is a writer, researcher, and MA student in Communication Studies at McGill University, supervised by Jonathan Sterne. She completed a joint B.A.&B.Sc. in Cognitive Science, also at McGill University. Her research interests include the social implications of AI technologies, Silicon Valley culture, how affect and political emotions circulate in digital culture, and how machine judgements shape aesthetic norms. Her thesis examines the cultural history of multi-agent systems in artificial intelligence research.
