Guillaume Sirois is currently finishing a PhD dissertation in the Department of Art History & Communication Studies at McGill University. He holds an M.A. in Art History and a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Art Management. Under the supervision of Prof. Marc Raboy, he is working on a dissertation that looks at power relations that condition the reception of artworks in the global art world. His research interests include cultural policy (at the local, national and international level) as well as contemporary visual culture. Previously, Guillaume Sirois also worked for several years in contemporary art centres and as apolicy advocate for various organizations in the arts and culture sector.
